Restaurant tycoon in middle of £350m divorce to marry new Brazilian lover half his age
A RESTAURANT tycoon left nursing a £350m divorce bill is getting hitched to a property developer half his age – just one year after splitting with his wife of 45 years.
Fashion mogul Caring, 69, announced his engagement to stunning Brazilian property developer Patricia Mondinni, 36, with a lavish party headlined by Latin crooner Ricky Martin.
Caring parted ways with wife Jacqui, 68, last year – and was still thrashing out the terms of a settlement that could cost half of his £700million fortune when he proposed to Mondinni.
The magnate – a close pal of shamed Topshop boss Sir Philip Green and ex-PM Tony Blair – owns a string of posh eateries on top of a vast property and fashion empire.
At the vast party, Martin – who charges up to £740,000 for private gigs – was filmed ushering Patricia on to the stage at an exclusive Mayfair nightclub owned by Caring.
Patricia showed off an enormous diamond ring before dancing with Ricky.
A pal said: “Patricia couldn’t help but show off her ring at any opportunity.
“She also grabbed the mic to sing along and even Richard joined in the dancing – they both looked very happy.”
Patricia and Caring live in a £32million London home and already have one child together.
Last night a spokesman for Mr Caring declined to comment on the tycoon’s engagement.
