An estranged husband whose wife says they are going through a divorce was captured on camera repeatedly ramming a dump truck into his partner\u2019s home in Los Angeles over the weekend, slamming into parked cars and seemingly destroying anything that got in his way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Patricia Dunn told KABC <\/a>that the man behind the wheel was her husband, Ronald Dunn, from whom she is getting a divorce. After she filed a restraining order against him earlier this month, the 63-year-old woman noted to KCAL<\/a>, her husband grew even more enraged \u2014 and caused her to fear for her life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Details surrounding the couple\u2019s divorce remain unclear, and neither Patricia nor Ronald Dunn immediately responded to requests for comment early Tuesday. It\u2019s unclear whether charges have been brought against Ronald Dunn.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

About 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the Westmont neighborhood of South Los Angeles, the man allegedly came by the house three times, neighbors recounted to authorities. Neighbor Journey Meggerson told KCAL how Ronald Dunn first came by in a white Chevrolet Impala \u201cand tore up the garage door.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

But before the Los Angeles County Sheriff\u2019s Department arrived at the scene, Dunn allegedly returned to his wife\u2019s home with something much bigger than an Impala: a dump truck. While it\u2019s unclear how the 62-year-old man obtained the dump truck, video <\/a>posted to TikTok and Twitter shows the dump truck accelerating and smashing into the one-story home as several neighbors look on in horror.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWhat is he doing?\u201d one person yells, according to video.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After the dump truck backs up, the vehicle then rams into multiple cars parked along the street. The dump truck reverses again and pushes one of the damaged parked cars into another person\u2019s yard, video shows. The dump truck backs up again, this time running over the hood of another parked car.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cStop, oh my gosh!\u201d another neighbor yells at the dump truck.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Neighbors told local media that when he was done with the dump truck, Ronald Dunn returned for a third time, again in the Impala, to inflict more damage and yell obscenities at his wife and neighbors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThat was honestly the craziest thing I have ever seen,\u201d Meggerson told KABC.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The sheriff\u2019s department eventually came roughly 30 minutes after the initial call, because the first report was described as a traffic collision instead of a crime, according to local media.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The multiple attacks, including with the dump truck, resulted in the metal fence outside Patricia Dunn\u2019s home being bent to the ground, according to KABC. She told reporters that she blamed authorities for not getting there sooner and possibly preventing some of the damage. She added that she believes it was no coincidence that the vehicles targeted areas right outside her bedroom, describing her estranged husband as \u201ca madman.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cA man under that kind of rage \u2014 who\u2019s to say what he might do?\u201d she said to reporters. \u201cHe was trying to kill me. He really was.\u201d She added, \u201cI was just trying to stay out of the way.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Officials with the Los Angeles County Sheriff\u2019s Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Ronald Dunn is not listed as being in custody in the department\u2019s online database as of early Tuesday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The sheriff\u2019s department told City News Service<\/a>, a regional network covering Southern California, that it could not comment on the ongoing investigation into the incident.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Patricia Dunn was fighting through tears over the weekend in acknowledging that she will probably have to sell her home. She told KCAL that she fears what her estranged husband might do next.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI want to put it up for sale and just move on, because I\u2019m not comfortable here anymore,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t know. He might come back. Who\u2019s to say he\u2019s not?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
