The purpose behind the implementation of the Act was to make sure that the state is able to grant and govern the obligations and rights that exist in a relationship between a tenant and a landlord for business purposes. Once a business lease ends, tenants have been granted statutory protection to continue their stay in the property as long as either the lease has been reviewed or the tenant\u2019s new lease request is rejected. <\/p>\n<p>A Section 25 Notice is primarily a show of intent by the Landlord to the tenant once their business lease has expired.
