A woman in the UAE applied for a divorce because her husband doesn\u2019t argue with her<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A woman said she endured a \u2018year of hell\u2019 in a \u2018cruel free\u2019 marriage to a man who helped with the housework and showered her with gifts.<\/p>\n

She filed for divorce at the Shariah court in Fujairah, the UAE, complaining she was \u2018chocked\u2019 by his \u2018extreme love and affection\u2019.<\/p>\n

The husband was so kind he even went on a strict diet and exercise regime that left him with a broken leg when she told him off for gaining weight.<\/p>\n

But this did not please the angry wife, who told the court: \u2018<\/strong>I am eagerly longing for a single day of dispute, but this seems impossible with my romantic husband who always forgave me and showered me with daily gifts.\u2019<\/p>\n

The wife had complained to the court that her spouse never argued or yelled at her and was always kind.<\/p>\n

But this cruel-free treatment left her wanting more.<\/p>\n

\u2018I need a real discussion, even an argument, not this hassle-free life full of obedience\u2019, she said.<\/p>\n

\u2018I am choked by his extreme love and affection. He even assisted me in cleaning the house without me asking him.\u2019<\/p>\n

Even her application for a divorce did not stem the affections of her doting husband, who begged the courts to reject it, according to the English language UAE newspaper,\u00a0Khaleej Times.<\/p>\n

He told the court: \u2018It\u2019s not fair to judge a marriage from the first year, and everybody learns from their mistakes.\u00a0I am and always wish to be a perfect and kind husband.\u2019<\/p>\n

The court ordered an adjournment of the case to give the couple a chance to settle the dispute themselves.<\/p>\n
